My first same sex wedding! It was amazing to be the Liverpool wedding photographer for Kevin & Costa’s Bluecoat chambers wedding.
HISTORIC BLUECOAT CHAMBERS
Bluecoat Chambers is a grade 1 listed building and is the oldest building and wedding venue in the city centre! The beautiful garden at the rear and the gorgeous Georgian courtyard make Bluecoat chambers a very unique wedding venue. No two weddings are the same and Bluecoat has a real eclectic mixture of Georgian and modern architecture, giving the photographs a unique twist. WEDDING CEREMONY AT BLUECOAT CHAMBERS
A great friend of Costa’s sang a beautiful song as they walked into the wedding ceremony from opposite sides of the room. There were lots of tears during the wedding vows and signing of the register. It was a pure joy to capture some lovely moments during the exchange of rings.
Kevin & Costa both gave wonderful speeches and the wedding breakfast was a fantastic scrummy buffet. After some simple family formals we captured some fantastic couple portraits using off camera flash. RELAXED NATURAL PHOTOGRAPHY
I don’t spend a lot of time during the couple shoot, as my focus is on a natural documentary approach, photographing as many real moments as I can. I want my set of photographs to reflect all of the real amazing things that happened throughout the wedding day. My photographs will be a lasting memory of the wedding day for years to come. Setting up photographs and stopping things only creates images that are meaningless. I Loved that the wedding cake was a load of cute themed cup cakes! No first dance just loads of dancing to a top band, which ended a wonderful wedding day. Did you know a lot of people are choosing to honeymoon in Liverpool?
